I just added a "Resources" page full of FREE templates , tools and plans for all you prop builders out there. You can find it HERE or via the link at the top of the Projects page.
Let me know if there's something that you'd like to see included. I'll be using this page too and it would be nice to have one place for all the goodies.
Hey Everyone! Thanks for your patience while I rebuild the site. The basic structure is now in place and I even have a few of the projects re-built. I will be slowly updating the project section with all the old site's builds, starting with the most current and going back to the beginning.
I think the new site will be much easier to keep up and you won't have to dig to see the new stuff.

Welcome to Blind Squirrel Props! Since 2005, I've been blogging my various geeky projects…partly as a record for myself (since my memory is notoriously awful) but also as a resource for others so they can learn from my mistakes.
The old site has finally succumbed to old age so I've been forced to rebuild. I've been wanting to do it for a while so it's not entirely a bad thing. Plus I reeeeeally hated Wordpress.
A few changes going forward:
I will no longer be writing a blog. It just proved to be too much work to keep it going on a weekly basis when it's just easier to throw a few choice images on social media. I'd much rather be building stuff with that time. Progress images will be posted to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram before I recap the project here. If you haven't already, I invite you to follow me on those sites for all the "action."
This page will be a temporary measure while I re-build all the projects. Kits will on my new Etsy shop (which makes ordering much easier for international shoppers).
In the meantime, if you need to refer to an old project, look up the site on The Waybackmachine. It should have everything before the site went kablooey.
