A client wanted accurate eyes to replace the ones on this toy.
The eyes are joined on the toy and should be separate. Not to mention those weird eye brows....
I shot a photo of the toy and drew my template from it.
I sculpted the new eyes and brows in Strata.
These are the prints I got back from Shapeways. The mounting pins on the eye brows turned out to be too thin and risked snapping off.
I re-sculpted the brows with a thicker peg (old one in black above).
Painted parts with black vinyl pupils.
I made alternate eye brows so you can mix and match for different expressions
Not sure how to read this expression....skeptical?
